Laid back, hometown feel, friendly people
It's an independent, old-school truck stop. It has quite a lot of what I value in a truck stop, oversize parking and quiet. The meal I had at the cafe was tasty and well-portioned and priced better than most Interstate fast food chains. It is kind of old, and does have a bit of a run-down feel to it. If you aren't overly hung up on appearances, it's a great place to get fuel and stay.
Giving it 5 because it still stands alone against the big truckstop chains. Yes, this place has seen better days but unlike the West-T-Go at Tye, TX, this one still has a real restaurant.
I'll come back for sure.
I hope the owners will spruce this one up. It needs some paint at the very least.

The staff was dirty, looked like they haven't taken a bath or changed their clothes in days... Waitress was extremely immature. Restrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in months. Cafe is a little run down, food priced decently. Will not eat here again though..hoping not to get food poisoning.
Food was very good, having had the meatloaf special. Price was around the normally-high range.
